We are proud to officially invite all IFBB Professional League Wheelchair Bodybuilding and Bikini Pro athletes to the Inaugural IFBB Professional League African Pro — a landmark moment for the sport on the African continent.

Taking place at the prestigious Silverstar Casino, Johannesburg, South Africa, this event represents more than just a competition. It is the beginning of a new era — a platform where Africa meets the global Pro League stage.

As a Pro athlete, you are among the elite. This stage has been built to reflect that.

You will compete in a world-class environment alongside the NPC Worldwide African Championships & Pro Qualifier, creating a powerful, unified weekend where athletes rise from Amateur to Professional — and Professionals showcase the highest standard of the sport.

This Open Pro Qualifier contest is open to all IFBB Professional League athletes worldwide, with active membership. 

The only contests the IFBB Professional League recognises for Olympia points earning and qualification are the Pro Contests officially associated with the IFBB Professional League; no other contests will be acknowledged.

IFBB Professional League Pro Shows are the only pathway to competing on the IFBB Professional League Olympia Stage.

In addition, leading companies in the bodybuilding and fitness sector will have the opportunity to showcase their latest products and innovations at the EXPO, which will take place at the Silverstar Centre concurrently with the competition.

CONTRACTS

A comprehensive Contest Contracts Guide is now available, which includes detailed instructions and documentation for how to submit Contract Applications.  Additionally, this Guide includes very important Rules and Regulations pertaining to Contract Applications, including deadlines.

It is imperative that all IFBB PRO athletes review the guide and familiarize themselves with these rules.

As a reminder, the Contract Application deadline for any contest is the Monday prior to the contest at 3:00 pm Eastern (Pittsburgh) Time.  After this deadline, no new Contract Applications will be accepted; no classes will be permitted to be added; and no classes will be permitted to be removed.  In other words, no changes will be made to any Competitor List information or Contest data after the Contract Application deadline.

    An ACTIVE IFBB PRO Membership is Required to Compete at this Contest.  Membership is valid from 1 January to 31 December for the year of purchase.

  • BACKSTAGE

    An ACTIVE NPC or IFBB PRO Membership is Required to access Member-Only Areas such as the Backstage.  All Passholders are required to Compete the Champagne Productions Code of Conduct Form prior to receiving the Backstage Pass. Backstage Pass is strictly limited to 1 Pass per Competitor!  Coaches who purchase any 2026 Backstage Pass will be eligible to earn Points in the 2026 Coach Rankings. The Backstage Pass DOES NOT give the Passholder Access into the Athlete Hold Area or Tanning Area. Pass Holders who contravene any of the conditions of membership will have their backstage access including future access to the Backstage area revoked.

    All Wheelchair Bodybuilding Contestants ARE REQUIRED to supply their own posing routine music. Vulgar music is NOT permitted and will be grounds for disqualification You must UPLOAD YOUR MUSIC in MP3 format via your Muscleware Athlete Profile before online entries close. Check the email you received after you entered the contest and the music upload link will be in there.  If you cannot find your confirmation of entry in your email box, check your spambox of your email. No USB or Whatsapp Submissions will be accepted.

  • CURRENCY

    The national currency in South Africa is Rands (ZAR). All major credit cards are widely accepted at most major hotels, department stores and restaurants. You may be requested to show your passport.

  • TIMEZONE

    GMT +2 hours

VISA

The visa policy of South Africa is how the South African government determines who may and may not enter South Africa. Visitors to South Africa must obtain a visa from one of the South African diplomatic missions unless they come from one of the visa-exempt countries, in which case they get a “Port of Entry Visa”. Visitors who require a visa must apply in person and provide biometric data.

All National Federations and supporting teams could ask for an Invitation letter from the Contest Promoter. The invitation letter does not mean you are granted your visa. The Contest Promoter is not responsible for attendants visas.

To prevent unlawful stay in the host country the athlete may generate their own visa letter on the Muscleware from their athlete profile.

  • CAMERA/VIDEO RECORDING EQUIPMENT

    Camera and/or video recording equipment shall be strictly prohibited in the backstage and/or dressing room areas except when used by IFBB Professional League authorised media persons.

  • Media Accreditation

    All media must submit your request to info@champagneproductionsafrica.com no later than June 5th, 2026.

  • CLIMATE

    June in Johannesburg is the start of winter, characterized by cool, dry, and sunny days with chilly nights. Average daytime highs reach approximately 16C to 19C (61F - 66F), while nights and early mornings are cold, dropping to around 3C to 5C (37F - 41F). It is a very dry month, with little to no rain.

  • ELECTRICAL

    South Africa operates on a 230V supply voltage and 50Hz frequency. The primary plug type is Type M (large 3-pin), although Types D and N are also used. A travel adapter is required for visitors, and voltage converters may be needed for 110-120V appliances

  • LANGUAGE

    South Africa has 12 official languages to promote multilingualism and protect heritage, as of the 2023 constitutional amendment adding South African Sign Language (SASL). The 11 spoken languages are: English, Afrikaans, isiZulu, isiXhosa, siSwati, isiNdebele, Sepedi, Sesotho, Setswana, Tshivenda, and Xitsonga. While all are officially equal, English is predominantly used for government, business, and media.
